Embracing Green & Clean Fashion

By now we are sure that you know that at Etiko it’s all about keeping it ‘green & clean’.

Since launching our brand, more than 15 years ago, one way we’ve managed to do that is by steering clear of toxic dyes like they’re the plague.

We’ve always known that toxic dyes not only harm the environment but also pose health risks to the people who work with them. Having travelled to fashion production centres in parts of Asia we’ve also seen how those dyes leach into waterways, messing up aquatic ecosystems and causing all sorts of havoc.

As a result, we’ve only ever used non-toxic GOTS certified dyes

All of the fabrics that are used in Etiko clothing and footwear are dyed using water-based dyes free of ammonia, formaldehyde, chlorine bleach and toxic heavy metals.
